Dried Lime Fruit Snack | Commercial Dehydrators

These Dried Lime Fruit Snacks are really easy to make and are great for using with cocktails, garnishes, teas and as an easy to eat citrusy fruit snack. The dried limes are also a great addition for many Thai recipes. Use this recipe for lemons as well

  • Fresh limes

Instructions
  1. Wash the limes clean. Slice limes into 1/4inch thick slices.
  2. Set lime slices on the dehydrator tray. Dry at 125°F to 135°F for 16 to 18 hours or until they become brittle.
  3. Store dried lime slices in an air tight bag or container.

Note: Dehydrated lime slices can be eaten as snack, used to garnish salads when soaked in pitcher of water and are used in potpourri or wreaths

This mixture is fairly messy so using teflex non-stick sheets is recommended. You can substitute parchment paper for the Teflex, but do not use wax paper, as it will stick to the ingredients.
