Our IU-04 Premium Industrial Dehydrator/Oven can be operated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! These dehydrators are customizable to suit your requirements.

  • The layer height for the carts can be modified to increase dehydrator capacity. This is done by reducing the gap between each layer allowing more trays per cart. Each layer of the cart holds two of our industrial trays (64 x 46cm) (e.g. A 15-layer cart holds 30 trays)
  • There are 4 standard tray options for the Industrial range of dehydrators (304 Stainless Steel Pan, Perforated, Mesh, and Fine Mesh). Alternatively, contact an industrial specialist if you require custom-made trays for your industrial unit.
  • This model has a temperature range from ambient - 300°F

Our Industrial Dehydrators features a convenient USB backup system that automatically records all analytical feedback metrics during the drying cycle. This allows you to easily view and export a spreadsheet of internal chamber temperature, internal product temperature, and chamber humidity levels at 15-minute intervals from previous drying cycles. With this feature, you can keep track of all your drying cycle details and ensure consistent quality control. This is especially useful for production facilities audited by governing safety bodies like the USDA. With our CSV data export feature, you can easily comply with safety regulations and ensure the highest product safety and quality standards.

Remote Operational Control

With our desktop and mobile app, you can easily control and monitor your BenchFoods™ Industrial Dehydrator anywhere in the world. Connect your dehydrator unit to an Ethernet network, and you’ll have access to the actual PLC screen, allowing you to adjust settings and monitor progress remotely. This feature gives you greater flexibility and convenience in managing your drying process, allowing you to save time and maximize efficiency. DrySync™ Technology

Introducing DrySync™ technology. This advanced system allows you to precisely regulate the intake and exhaust valves for the airflow system. It starts by building up the humidity level in the drying chamber. Then it cycles the exhaust system on and off throughout the drying program to evenly remove moisture from the center of your product. This ensures even and consistent drying while preventing case hardening, which leads to premature food spoilage due to internal mold and bacteria growth. With our DrySync™ technology, you can achieve optimal drying results every time, ensuring the highest quality end product.

Programmable Staged Drying

Our unique Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) enable you to conduct staged drying cycles according to a predetermined recipe. With up to five customizable steps, each with its own programmable temperature and time settings, you can achieve precise and consistent results every time. This feature is particularly useful for “kill-step” processes when making beef jerky and for reducing dry times by starting the cycle with a higher temperature and then gradually decreasing as your product loses its moisture. With this method, you’ll achieve the same product consistency, texture, and appearance in less time without sacrificing quality.

Uniform Drying without Rotation

With our advanced dynamic airflow panels, you will experience evenly distributed hot, dry air across every tray, eliminating the need to rotate your product or trolleys during the drying cycle. Meticulously laser-cut for optimal precision, these panels generate back pressure within the heating chamber, ensuring uniform drying throughout the chamber. Food-Grade 304 Stainless Steel

Our Industrial Dehydrators are constructed with the highest quality 304 Food-Grade Stainless Steel available. This stainless steel grade contains higher levels of chromium and nickel, which forms a protective layer on the surface, preventing corrosion (rust), and preventing the formation of bacteria and other microorganisms. Additionally, it’s non-reactive and won’t react with acidic or alkaline substances found in food and cleaning agents. Commercial warranty

1. WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY COVER?
It covers defects in material or workmanship under normal use. We will repair or replace products/parts that prove defective during the warranty period.

2. WHAT WILL WE DO TO CORRECT PROBLEMS?
We will action 1 of 3 scenarios based on the defect and the product purchased;
1. Send a brand-new replacement of the defective product.
*Does not apply to industrial orders

2. If the defective part of the product is already identified, we will ship the replacement part and have a service technician come onsite to replace and install once it has arrived.
3. Send out a service technician to investigate the defect. Once the issue has been identified, the technician will either fix the defect immediately or notify us of replacement parts needed. If the latter, we will ship the required replacement parts to the service address. The technician will then return onsite to service and fix the product.
*If there is no technician locally available, then a local appliance repair technician can be sourced by the customer and BenchFoods will pay the technician invoice or reimburse the customer if prepaid.

3. HOW LONG DOES THE COVERAGE LAST?
The Warranty Period is now 5 years from the original date of purchase for Industrial, Commercial, and Domestic Dehydrators. *Excluding refurbished dehydrators which carry a 3 year warranty. Replacement products or parts, provided through a warranty claim, assume the remaining warranty of the original product or 180 days from the replacement or repair date, whichever is longer. *Spare Parts purchased outside of a warranty claim are not eligible for warranty coverage.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping: Standard Domestic Shipping is included in your Industrial Unit price. These units are made to order and will take around 12-16 weeks to your door.

Returns: As these units are built to order and often have specific modifications to an individual customer, returns are not accepted unless due to manufacturing issues that are unable to be resolved from a technician servicing.
